Dear Subscribers,
Welcome again to another issue of AAA-Software E-zine.
I assume that most of you on this list are experienced
PC users, but I couldn't resist to share a tip with you that
shows you how to automatically filter out spam, highlight
messages and sort your email in Eudora!
I know, Microsoft Outlook also has a ton of features, like
color coding your emails, but last time I checked it was
much easier to do in Eudora.
Either program will be a winner for you. Full-featured email
programs allow you to create filters that automatically sort
your email.
Here's the tip:
1. Go to your Eudora "Inbox" folder, and right click on
any email.
2. Select "make label" from the popup menu.
3. Select a color.
That email now appears in your Inbox with a color. I mark
all action emails in red, important things to read in green.
Just by scrolling through my in box, I can spot all my
priority emails.
Eudora can also filter messages into special mailboxes.
It sticks mailing list unsubscribe requests into another
email box and deletes emails for me with certain words
in the subject line or headers that indicate it's spam.
It's extremely easy to create message filters. I can't
imagine using email without these filters.
I also set up stationary messages that allows me to
send canned responses with just a click.
